Cinque Terre – Plan Your Day on Your Own
What to do > Travel Hub
The Cinque Terre are cliffside villages, sea light and terraced hills. This page shares general ideas to plan independently, with a base in Sarzana (Liguria, Italy).
Note: La Bianca Fattoria does not organise tours or guided visits. Please check trails, access rules and any restrictions on the official sources listed at the bottom of the page.
What to do (easy, reliable ideas)
- Village time: enjoy harbours, small lanes and viewpoints without rushing.
- Panoramic stops: viewpoints appear all along the routes and village streets.
- Sea breaks: plan according to season and sea conditions.
For walkers
The National Park includes coastal sections and higher ridge paths. Before leaving, always check trail status, rules and any access requirements on official channels.
- Sentiero Azzurro: classic coastal sections between villages (check access conditions).
- Ridge paths (Sentiero Rosso): wider views and longer walks (check time and elevation).
- Via dell’Amore: check opening and any booking rules when applicable.
